Hideo Kojima shares some good news about Death Stranding 2 development

Several highly anticipated projects are currently underway, with varying levels of public information available. While some, such as GTA 6, remain shrouded in secrecy, others offer glimpses into their development.

Hideo Kojima recently announced via social media that the Japanese voice actors for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach have completed their recording sessions. Although recording continues for other aspects of the Japanese dub, this milestone marks significant progress. The actors recently finished work on a crucial scene featuring six main characters, culminating in a celebratory gathering and group photos. Kojima expressed bittersweet feelings about concluding this phase of the project, while also expressing excitement for future collaborations.

Further details regarding Death Stranding 2 are promised during SXSW 2025 on March 10th. Whether or not a release date will be revealed at this event remains to be seen.
