Our app leverages a unique tool, the Pediatric Belt Cane, crafted by Safe Toddles, to guide children through a series of meticulously designed lessons. These lessons are not only engaging but also highly effective in teaching essential walking and orientation skills tailored to the needs of visually impaired kids.
Participants in the program interact with these lessons, complete specific activities, and provide valuable feedback through detailed assessment questionnaires. This interaction ensures that the learning experience is both comprehensive and personalized.
A key feature of our app is its integration with an advanced wearable IMU sensor, which is securely attached to the Pediatric Belt Cane. This sensor diligently collects and transmits IMU data to the app, where it is processed by a sophisticated AI module. This module meticulously analyzes the data to accurately assess the developmental age of the student.
Based on these regular assessments, the app dynamically adjusts and generates a customized set of lessons that align perfectly with the individual developmental stage of each student.
