The iconic Final Fantasy VII soundtrack, "One-Winged Angel," made a surprising appearance at the Louis Vuitton Men's Fall-Winter 2025 fashion show. Discover how this unexpected collaboration unfolded!

A Live Orchestral Performance

The Louis Vuitton show opened with a live orchestra performing the powerful "One-Winged Angel," Sephiroth's theme from Final Fantasy VII. Male models showcased the latest luxury designs as the dramatic music filled the runway.

Creative director Pharrell Williams curated the show's soundtrack. The inclusion of this epic orchestral piece amidst a predominantly pop-focused selection (featuring artists like The Weeknd, Playboy Carti, Don Toliver, SEVENTEEN, and BTS' j-hope) is intriguing. While the livestream description credits Pharrell with the composition of other tracks, "One-Winged Angel" (composed by Nobuo Uematsu) remains a standout. Perhaps Pharrell's personal appreciation for the music, or even a hidden Final Fantasy fandom, explains its presence.

The full fashion show livestream is available on the official Louis Vuitton YouTube channel.

Square Enix's Delightful Surprise

Square Enix expressed their pleasant surprise on the official Final Fantasy VII X (Twitter) account, tweeting their delight at the inclusion of "One-Winged Angel" in the Louis Vuitton show and sharing a link to the video.

Final Fantasy VII, a beloved title in the franchise, captivated gamers worldwide upon its 1997 release. The story of Cloud Strife and his companions' fight against Shinra and Sephiroth resonated deeply.

The unexpected revival of the game began with a surprise trailer at E3 2015, followed by a gameplay trailer at PlayStation Experience 2015. The Final Fantasy VII Remake Project, a multi-part reimagining, is currently underway, with the third installment in development. This modern adaptation boasts updated graphics, expanded content, dynamic combat, and compelling new storylines.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available on PlayStation 5, with a PC release on Steam set for January 23rd.
