This flagship initiative provides cashless secondary and tertiary care treatments at empanelled public and private hospitals, offering coverage to over 10 crore poor and vulnerable families across the nation.
The National Health Authority (NHA) serves as the apex body responsible for implementing the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY scheme. With the launch of the Ayushman app, beneficiaries now have a user-friendly tool at their fingertips to create their "Ayushman card," which entitles them to free medical treatment up to INR 5 Lakhs.
