Heads up: the popular music streaming service Spotify appears to be experiencing an outage this morning. According to Downdetector, a sister site of IGN, reports of Spotify outages started pouring in around 6 a.m. PT today and have continued to surge. Our team also faced difficulties accessing the service throughout the morning. When we managed to open the app, it failed to play any music.
Spotify has officially acknowledged the issue and is actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible. The company has also debunked rumors suggesting that the outage is linked to a security hack, confirming that these claims are false.
