**Using the App and Same Sensor Scanner**

To receive signals on your phone, you must launch the sensor through the FreeStyle LibreLink app. Conversely, to receive signals on the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner, you need to activate the sensor using the scanner. If the sensor is initially launched using a scanner, it can still be scanned using your phone later.
The app and scanner do not communicate with each other. To ensure you have complete data, scan the sensor with the device you're using at least every 8 hours; otherwise, your reports may be incomplete. You can download and review data from all your devices at LibreView.com.
