The latest addition to the Free Fire roster, Koda, hails from a high-tech arctic region. His special ability, Aurora Vision, grants him increased speed and the ability to spot enemies hidden behind cover, even providing a preview of enemy locations while parachuting. Koda's backstory involves a mystical fox mask and a bond with snow foxes, lending an intriguing layer to his character.
Aurora Transforms the Battlefield:
The aurora theme is central to this year's Winterlands event. Bermuda map features an aurora-filled sky and a dynamic Aurora Forecast system. This system impacts gameplay by providing buffs based on the forecast, adding an unpredictable element to battles.
Frosty Tracks: A New Way to Travel:
Icy, rideable Frosty Tracks have been added to both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. Players can skate across the map, strategically navigating locations like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory (Bermuda), while engaging in combat. Special Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF Coins. In Clash Squad, these frosty highways appear in areas like Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar.
Random Aurora Events and Friend Challenges:
Keep an eye out for aurora-enhanced Coin Machines in Battle Royale and aurora-infused Supply Gadgets in Clash Squad. These provide opportunities to complete event quests and earn squad buffs. Playing with friends adds another layer of fun. Friends appear as cute snowballs on the event interface, and completing friend-specific tasks unlocks rewards such as an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
