Genshin Impact Update 5.4: 9,350 Free Primogems and New 5-Star Character

Genshin Impact's upcoming Update 5.4 is bringing players a generous gift of 9,350 free Primogems—enough for approximately 58 wishes on the gacha banners. This substantial amount of in-game currency makes acquiring new characters and items significantly more attainable.

The update introduces Yumizuki Mizuki, a new 5-star character from the Inazuma region. Her arrival hints at a possible return to the Electro nation's storyline. While HoYoverse hasn't revealed her official release date, she's expected to feature in the first banner cycle of Update 5.4, aligning with the usual pattern for new 5-star character releases.

Acquiring Primogems in Genshin Impact is straightforward, even without spending real money. Daily Commissions, readily available simple quests, are a primary source of free Primogems. The upcoming Lantern Rite Festival in Version 5.3 will also offer additional free rewards, ensuring many players will enter Update 5.4 with a plentiful supply of Primogems.

Mizuki's rumored role as a 5-star Anemo support character suggests strong synergy with a wide range of existing characters, given Anemo's versatile elemental interactions. The abundance of free Primogems in Update 5.4 significantly increases the chances of successfully pulling for Mizuki and other desirable characters. The 10-wish pity system guarantees at least five or six new four-star characters with these 58 pulls.
