Marvel Rivals Reveals New Game Mode, New Maps, and Battle Pass Details for Season 1

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – New Heroes, Maps, and Game Mode Unveiled!

NetEase Games has unveiled exciting details for Marvel Rivals Season 1, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This three-month season introduces Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and The Invisible Woman (Strategist) as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving approximately six to seven weeks later. The Baxter Building will also feature prominently in a new map.

The season's highlights include:

  • New Battle Pass: Featuring 10 new skins and a rewarding system that returns 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. The pass costs 990 Lattice.
  • Doom Match: A thrilling new arcade-style game mode pitting 8-12 players against each other, with the top 50% declared victorious.
  • Three New Maps: Prepare to battle across Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum (used in Doom Match), Empire of the Eternal Night: Midtown (for convoy missions), and Empire of the Eternal Night: Central Park (arriving mid-season).

The developers emphasized their commitment to community feedback, acknowledging concerns about character balance (particularly ranged characters like Hawkeye) and promising adjustments in the first half of the season. Season 1 promises a significant expansion of the Marvel Rivals experience.
