World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces customizable character select screens with collectible campsites! Four new campsites are available at launch, with more planned for future updates.
This new personalization feature allows players to select unique backgrounds for their character selection screen. Each campsite offers a distinct visual theme.

The Ohn'ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked upon logging in after Patch 11.1. The Cultists’ Quay is earned through the Season 2 Delver’s Journey. Freywold Spring and the Gallagio Grand Gallery require completing the "All That Khaz" and "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievements, respectively.
Players can preview and unlock these campsites in the updated Collections pane. A new tab on the character select screen allows for easy selection of your preferred campsite. You can even set it to randomize between your favorites!
This expansion of character screen customization builds upon the Warbands system from World of Warcraft: The War Within. Blizzard plans to continue adding more campsites in future updates, potentially through new content, old zones, holiday events, the Trading Post, and even the in-game store.
