The Tawakkalna Emergency app is the official application in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia designed for managing emergency situations and enhancing community protection. Developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), it has been instrumental in controlling the spread of COVID-19.
Initially, Tawakkalna was launched to streamline relief efforts by electronically issuing permits during the "Curfew Period" for both government and private sector employees, as well as individuals. This initiative significantly helped in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 virus within the Kingdom.
As the situation evolved into the "Return with Caution" phase, Tawakkalna introduced several crucial new services to facilitate a safe return to normalcy. One of the most notable features is the display of users' health status through color-coded indicators, ensuring the highest standards of security and privacy.
